"Boundless One" is a praise song, an exhortation, and an exploration of the incarnation in poetic, musical form. It seemed fitting to release the song at Christmas time.

The song was shaped from an excerpt of stream of consciousness writing. Originally written in Dorian mode on acoustic guitar, the orchestrations were added once the lyrics and guitar had been sorted out. There are dozens of layers of live and programmed instruments, which blend together to create that unique sound which is "Passionate Prophetic".

Like a bride who met the eyes of heaven's king
Would I humbly blush or would I sing...

Of the countless stars that number the sky?
Of the ghostly orb that pulls the ocean tide?

Boundless One, bound by mortal frame
Ageless One, born as a babe
With a tent of skin and bone
You called the earth your home

Did you hear the tearing veil
As he wore our flesh and took our nails?
Like a king descending from his holy throne
As he chose a bride to call his own.

He is everything our lonely hearts desire.
He gave everything and sealed us with a fire
He is Lord of all - Lord of all!

Endless One, hanging on a tree
Loving one came to set us free
With a tent of skin and bone
He called the earth his home
